John Rice joined Magrino in 2011 and has spent more than fourteen years building a reputation as one of the agency’s most versatile and media-savvy Vice Presidents. He leads day-to-day strategy and execution for clients across the consumer and real estate practices, with particular depth in design, interiors, and personality-driven brands.
His client work spans national broadcast segments, major newspapers, and glossy lifestyle publications. John also leads agency events, including The New York Public Library’s Library Lions Gala and Library Lunch, alongside a long history with marquee fundraising events.
His roster has included Martha Stewart, Gaggenau, Kips Bay Decorator Show House, California Closets, Christie’s International Real Estate, and Michael S. Smith.

The water, the mountains,
and a great find.
John loves being on the water and at the beach, and spends his winters skiing. He has a strong interest in interior design and is always hunting for a great piece. He lives in New York City with his husband and his Cavapoo, Prince.
