In a place as idyllic as Palm Beach, each errand or excursion deserves a similarly sublime setting. The Royal Poinciana Plaza distills quintessential Palm Beach style into a destination where everything feels elegant and extra special. Built in 1957 and carefully restored to its original mid-century glamour in 2017, The Royal Poinciana Plaza is an island icon and beloved destination for discerning Palm Beachers. Today, this landmarked property features exceptional shopping, dining, and space to simply enjoy a moment in paradise. Organized around two lush, central courtyards, The Royal is inspired by some of the most memorable European retail destinations, like a sunnier island version of the Palais Royal. But don’t let the fanciness fool you. Even in this land of luxury, things never get too serious. Hosting over 200 events year-round and supporting partnerships in philanthropy, fitness, education, and the arts, The Royal brings the island of Palm Beach together. Here, high society glamour is tempered with carefree family moments and pure fun. The vibe is equal parts charity gala and lunch with your girlfriends; fine art and really good French fries.
What’s New
Last Season, The Royal welcomed STAUD and Thom Browne to its iconic fashion mix, while community-favorite tenant Marissa Collections expanded its storefront to include a second floor. “The Penthouse” offers a one-of-a-kind elevated shopping experience, including private VIP rooms, a chef’s table, a lounge, a bar, and more.
In the Spring, The Royal proudly welcomed Atria Health, a membership-based preventive health-care practice delivering primary and specialty care for whole families in its state-of-the-art facility. With a visionary approach that transitions from traditional reactive care to a model focused on personalized, proactive, and preventive health care, Atria is setting a new standard in the medical field.
Currently being developed steps from the water’s edge, the revitalized Playhouse will bring together best-in-class retail, the world’s finest art, and a one-of-a-kind dining experience: Tutto Mare, a new Mediterranean concept from the Tutto il Giorno restaurant group and the only public waterfront restaurant on Palm Beach Island. At the heart of this iconic building, a purpose-built theater space will host performances, special events, and intimate gatherings that evoke Palm Beach’s unique history and continue to create an unparalleled sense of community.
