Currently welcoming residents and available for immediate occupancy, 200 Amsterdam is perfectly composed in the heart of Manhattan’s Upper West Side, just blocks away from historic locations like Central Park, The American Museum of Natural History, and Lincoln Center, as well as premier retail locations including The Shops at Columbus Circle. The 52-story luxury condominium, developed by SJP Properties, features two duplex Penthouses at the crown of the building and eight full-floor homes in addition to 112 graciously sized residences ranging from one to five bedrooms.
SJP Properties, known for developing over 25 million square feet of premier commercial and residential space in the New York Metropolitan region, tapped globally recognized Elkus Manfredi Architects to design 200 Amsterdam, partnering with internationally acclaimed firm CetraRuddy for interiors. The result is a contemporary interpretation of New York City’s classic prewar apartment homes. Elkus Manfredi envisioned 200 Amsterdam as an homage to the majestic landmarks lining Central Park West. The tower’s facade combines a mix of granite, limestone, and glass. Ornate decorative metal panels pair with expansive windows creating a lighter, decidedly modern appearance. The impressive arrival is a fusion of classic New York and art deco elements. Alluring backlit metal panels paired with Jet Mist granite and Alabama limestone create a powerful base, complimented by warm, welcoming landscaping.
