The Resort
A Caribbean Icon Since the 1970s
Casa de Campo Resort & Villas, located in La Romana about an hour from Punta Cana and Santo Domingo, was built in the seventies as a lavish island retreat. The property is now home to 7,000 acres of Caribbean living inclusive of outstanding accommodations, world-class dining, championship golf, an immaculate beach, full-service marina, shooting center, and equestrian facilities.
At the heart of the resort is Altos de Chavón, a meticulously crafted replica of a 16th-century Mediterranean village designed by Dominican architect Jose Antonio Caro and Italian master designer Roberto Coppa. The village is a thriving cultural center, home to artisan workshops, galleries, and boutiques lining its cobblestone streets.
