Overview
All-American Bourbon brand, Horse Soldier Bourbon’s social media content and growth was stagnating. The brand approached Magrino to find a way to create social media content and buzz while engaging with the existing fan community. With a strong presence among veterans, outdoor enthusiasts, and foodies, our goal was to find someone who already loved the brand and fit – ideally – into all three categories.
Our Solution
Magrino reached out to Matthew Eads (@grillseeker) a BBQ culinary blogger, influencer and retired Marine. The goal of Horse Soldier Bourbon’s first ever influencer campaign with @Grillseeker was largely brand awareness and content diversification: specifically, the creation and use of food content and Instagram Reel content, which became necessary for growth and engagements on the platform in 2022. A lifelong fan of Horse Soldier Bourbon, Matt enthusiastically agreed to help out his fellow veterans and went above and beyond the scope of his contract to deliver content that still makes an impact on the brand handles.
Results
Magrino ideated, negotiated, and executed a 2-month long influencer campaign with @Grillseeker. The partnership resulted in 130k+ reel views, 70+ unique pieces of content, and 8,000+ engagements. In addition to social media promotion, @Grillseeker also wrote up three blog articles, sent two newsletter blasts, and continues to promote Horse Soldier Bourbon products organically and in other partnerships.
