In his short tenure, Carlton has repositioned iconic, legendary wineries including Heitz Cellar and Burgess to create a modern fine wine portfolio known as Lawrence Wine Estates. Leveraging his dynamic rise in the wine industry Magrino put together a strategic media relations plan lining including press opportunities, interviews, and appearances that established him as an authority and not just as a minority within the fine wine category.
Results
Leveraging his Master Sommelier knowledge, Magrino has secured placements in publications including Food & Wine, Bloomberg, The New York Times resulting in over 5 million impressions. He is now the host of CNN Original Series NOMAD as well as serves on the board for the Culinary Institute of America, and also The Roots Fund – a non-profit established to create a more inclusive wine industry for NEXTGEN.
