Overview
Magrino was selected as the U.S. agency to assist with the launch of Chateau Margaux’s special 2015 Grand Vin. Charged with securing exclusive coverage and hosting an ultra-VIP media event, Magrino needed to develop a strategic plan, timeline for embargoed stories, and highly curated media list to maximize feature coverage results.
Our Solution
Magrino designed an intimate and immersive experience at The Grill for 13 A-List media from outlets including Bloomberg Pursuits, Departures, Esquire, Food & Wine, Forbes, The New York Times, Town & Country, Wine Spectator, and more. Guests were treated to the newest 2015 Grand Vin Vintage, a bottle retailing for $1,200, and educated about its dedication to the late Paul Pontallier. In attendance were Chateau Margaux estate owner Corinne Mentzelopoulos, and daughter Alexandra Petit-Mentzelopoulos. Following the preview event, a media embargo was lifted and Magrino expanded outreach to reporters targeting business, design, wine industry, and lifestyle reporters interested in the different aspects of this unique venture, allowing for continued coverage spanning gift guides, leadership profiles, design and architecture from Lord Norman Foster, and more.
Results
In just a few short months, Magrino secured more than 130 million impressions across high-performing placements in outlets such as Forbes, Quartzy, CNBC, Town & Country, Wine Spectator, International Business Times, and more.
