Overview
The legendary Venetian Resort Las Vegas unveiled its latest entertainment venue, Voltaire Belle De Nuit in November 2023. A key component to the iconic resort’s $1 billion redevelopment project, we wanted to spotlight the venue’s points of difference, including its opening headliner Kylie Minogue, to further establish its position as the go-to destination on the strip with key audiences, while also attracting a new wave of entertainment seeking guests.
Our Solution
Magrino implemented a three phased media relations approach to build excitement for Voltaire through announcement moments leading up to opening, which kicked off with a curated media day in Los Angeles in July 2023 where Kylie made her exclusive announcement regarding her residency. For the LA Media day event, Magrino secured journalists from Los Angeles Magazine and People magazine to participate in a curated roundtable with Kylie, as well as key contributors to other music, lifestyle and travel outlets (Flaunt magazine, Travel + Leisure, Elle, Slant, etc.) to attend. Magrino used this event, as well as the official “on sale” announcement release and the opening itself in November to maintain momentum and leverage opportunities with national media spanning entertainment, lifestyle and travel.
Results
To date, our team has secured over 190 placements in top national and regional media outlets resulting in over 3.6 billion media impressions which include outlets such as People magazine, Us Weekly, Los Angeles Magazine, E! News and more. We’ve also arranged future visits with key contacts from Town & Country, V Magazine and Hollywood Reporter to experience the venue firsthand throughout Kylie’s residency.
