Magrino was engaged by the group of four Luxury Collection properties located on the northern coast of Sardinia to introduce the award-winning properties to U.S. media and influencers and build greater awareness for the overall destination of Costa Smeralda. There was a challenge in the fact that the properties are only open about four months out of the year, making the opportunity for first-hand experiences slim.
Each summer season, Magrino targets a new and diverse mix of U.S. media for group FAM trips and individual VIP visits. To ensure a steady stream of year- round coverage during the off-season, Magrino maintains an ongoing pitching calendar with timely, relevant angles covering the destination, design, hotel amenities, and world-class food and beverage offerings, all with a keen focus on the quality of press over quantity. Magrino also focuses efforts on award submissions to bolster the properties’ reputation with U.S. audiences.
Magrino has secured upwards of 30 top tier U.S. media for group FAMs and individual stays resulting in A-list coverage in VOGUE, Architectural Digest, Harper’s Bazaar, Food & Wine, Saveur, Forbes, Departures, and more.
