SITUATION

Tastemade partnered with Magrino to raise the brand’s profile with consumers via lifestyle media placements. Additionally, Magrino was tasked with breaking impactful news in tech and entertainment industry outlets to further their reach, and position Tastemade as industry leaders.

STRATEGY

Magrino’s strategic approach was to leverage Tastemade’s incredible video content, video hosts, and cofounders to garner coverage in media ranging from lifestyle outlets to business publications. Magrino prepared a strategic timeline of releases and pitches to maximize client exposure in the lifestyle space, using the already strong Tastemade video content across food, home/design, and travel to garner coverage of these videos in like-minded outlets. Additionally, Magrino was at the forefront of promoting celebrity promotional videos on the Tastemade channels, including video with John Legend and Zooey Deschanel. Finally, Magrino worked with major partners such as YouTube, AT&T, Snap, and Disney to release major news, leading strategy on the timing of releases, exclusives, and interviews.
