SITUATION

Magrino was engaged to promote the launch and opening of HPH restaurant group’s Le District, a 30,000-square-foot French-inspired marketplace and eatery. Located in the heart of downtown at the newly opened Brookfield Place, Le District is a curated market and dining destination where guests can explore an array of dishes, products, and tastes that exemplify the rich culinary heritage of France and all Francophone countries.

STRATEGY

Le District had a unique concept with multiple dining components, including a full-service brasserie, fine-dining concept, bar, and multiple counter-service locations for both sit-down and grab-and-go. Magrino aimed to tell the restaurant’s story via multiple in-depth pieces examining the many faces of the marketplace. We:

  • Generated press coverage and built buzz surrounding Le District’s opening in March 2015 in NYC local, food, lifestyle, business design, and real estate media.
  • Unveiled Le District to media and influencers at an opening party that showcased all the marketplace has to offer.
  • Continued to grow awareness and build the Le District story with media events and in-person meetings and tastings.
