Hunter Douglas, the world’s leading manufacturer of custom window treatments, launched its Design Studio™ program in September of 2019 that provides consumers with a complete solution for a fully dressed window. The Design Studio™ program provides consumers with a streamlined way to customize the look and feel of their windows. With the launch of Design Studio™, Hunter Douglas also revealed its much-anticipated collaboration with celebrated Brooklyn-based textile designer Rebecca Atwood. The Rebecca Atwood Collection for Design Studio™ debuted with 43 fresh and modern fabrics designed by Atwood that support the Hunter Douglas point of view.
In order to garner impactful press coverage surrounding the launch of Design Studio™ and The Rebecca Atwood Collection for Design Studio™, Magrino decided to organize media appointments at Rebecca Atwood’s showroom in Brooklyn in June 2019 a few months ahead of launch. Magrino secured appointments with top media outlets including House Beautiful, Business of Home, Interior Design, Galerie, Veranda, Architectural Digest, ELLE Décor and more, to meet with Rebecca and Hunter Douglas in person to view the collections and learn more about the new Design Studio™ program. Ahead of the September launch, Magrino also distributed the press release and images to a wide list of media to secure coverage timed to the launch of the collection.
As a result of the launch, Magrino secured an exclusive feature with Architectural Digest Pro, as well as impactful coverage in House Beautiful, Modern Luxury, LUXE Interiors + Design, Business of Home, NY Cottages & Gardens, MyDomaine, Galerie, HGTV and more.
