INTRODUCING TWO COOKBOOKS TO U.S. MEDIA AND CONSUMERS

Overview

Magrino was engaged by Fortnum & Mason to launched its first-ever cookbook Fortnum & Mason: The Cook Book as well as the sequel, Christmas & Other Winter FeastsFor both books, Magrino was tasked with securing U.S. press for the launch, surrounding a visit to New York from CEO, Ewan Venters and author, Tom Parker Bowles. Additionally, Magrino developed the guest list and secured guests for the  dinner to celebrate the book’s launch.

Our Solution

Magrino leveraged having Venters and Parker Bowles in New York to schedule media appointments with broadcast and short lead media including an appearance on Fox Business News’ Mornings with Maria, Good Day NY, a segment on Bloomberg Markets Radio, Bloomberg TV and Good Morning America. The team also coordinated one-on-one interviews with key media to result in larger feature coverage.

Results

Magrino secured more than 700 million media impressions for the book’s launch including The New York Times, Food & Wine online, Women’s Wear Daily online, Town & Country online, Quest, New York Post Online and Print, Vogue and Parade online. Fortnum & Mason additionally hired Magrino to launch their third cookbook that debuted June 1st.
