SMA was tasked with introducing Own Products, a natural, efficacious anti-aging skin care line to the media. Through strategic pitches, deskside appointments and introducing new products/services, SMA has maximized media exposure amongst the target Own consumer, a woman between 35-55, to build brand awareness and drive traffic for the website.
Our Solution
Showcase Own to a broad spectrum of beauty and lifestyle media via:
- Pitching Own to top-tier long- and short-lead media for product placement and relevant round-ups (summer skin care, winter skin care, etc.).
- Pitching Own’s natural story to beauty writers with a focus on natural and organic products
- Pitching Own to editors at publications in regional markets in which Own will be launching in Q1 2013 order to generate buzz
- Securing ‘My Own App’ exclusive in A-tier media outlet
- Leveraging existing cultural moments (New Year, New You, etc.) to promote the brand
