Harnessing the Power of Influencers to Promote Luxury Wellness Experiences

Overview

Nestled in Kohler, Wisconsin lies Kohler Hospitality, a destination known for their award-winning golf courses, Whistling Straits and Blackwolf Run, but not as known for its luxury wellness offerings. Magrino was tasked to raise awareness for Kohler Hospitality’s wellness offerings from Kohler Waters Spa to the on-property Wellness Retreats to their target local and bi-coastal audiences.

Our Solution

Magrino launched a two-pronged influencer strategy utilizing both paid and hosted influencers through partnerships and events that highlighted the wellness offerings of Kohler Waters Spa on-property and at their spa locations across Chicago. Magrino identified and partnered with micro and mid-tier lifestyle, wellness, and travel influencers who have strong audiences in Kohler’s target markets: Chicago, New York, and California. The team secured influencers for the resort’s themed wellness retreats and in-store events with content focusing on their experience and elevated offerings such as guided hikes, outdoor yoga, signature spa treatments, curated dining experiences, and more. The team also secured usage rights for the influencer content, adding assets to Kohler’s existing content library.

Results

Magrino secured 14 influencers to help promote Kohler’s wellness offerings, which consisted of a mix of paid partners, trade stays, and event attendees. Our efforts garnered over 177K impressions, 4.5K engagements, and 121 total posts across Instagram and TikTok. Over 100 posts were added-value content, highlighting the appetite for luxury wellness experiences and how excited and eager the influencer partners were to share with their audiences.
