Hu Products, one of the leading vegan snacking companies in the US, approached Magrino to help spread awareness of its missionto help people “get back to human” and generate press for its social responsibility efforts in the wake of COVID-19. The company partnered with FIGS Scrubs to donate 17,000 boxes of product along with 30,000 new pairs of scrubs to hospitals and frontlineworkers are the country, and matched 1-1 donations of cracker boxes to food banks in NYC.

Magrino built a two-month media relations plan targeting top tier national hard news media to cover the launch of the partnership,then feed the food bank news to the local NYC media, rolling into press office trend pitching focused on the products themselves.Magrino tapped its strong network of broadcast, business, lifestyle and food and beverage media contacts to deliver top tier nationaland regional press for Hu during this important time.
