Mary Blanton Ogushwitz has nearly eleven years experience in the public relations industry, focusing on food and food events, wine and spirits, restaurants, chefs and personalities, and luxury products. Mary started at Magrino in 2013 and has worked on many of the agency’s food accounts, in addition to the Martha Stewart team. Current and past clients include the William Grant & Sons portfolio, Martha Stewart, the James Beard Foundation Awards, Whispering Angel, Marchesi Antinori, Tastemade, Miracle Holiday Pop-Ups, The ONE Group/STK, Hakkasan, Le District, and The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas’ food & beverage offerings.
After completing her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration at Concordia College in Bronxville, NY, Mary worked at Raker Goldstein & Co., a top boutique public relations agency in New Jersey, for two years. To further her passion for food, spirits and hospitality, Mary joined KB Network News in 2010 where she remained for over three years, spearheading accounts like The New York Chocolate Show, Neuhaus chocolate, LDV Hospitality, La Mangeoire restaurant and its four-star chef, Christian Delouvrier, Fresco by Scotto and the Scotto family, Bagatelle, chef Alain Allegretti, and the Bedford Post Inn.
Mary is an avid eater who explores wherever she is through food. She currently lives in New York City with her husband Adam and young son Jack.
