David has helped to build, launch, and represented some of the world’s most recognizable brands.
Starting out at Margrino in 2008, he worked on renowned travel and hospitality brands like The Ranch, The Plaza Hotel, The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, and Fontainebleau Miami Beach. He returned in January 2024 as SVP, where he’ll play a role in leading new business development, accelerating agency growth into new categories while augmenting Magrino’s integrated marketing capabilities including content development, ground-up event creation, celebrity and talent ambassador programs, and partnership marketing.
After leaving Magrino to start his own PR firm, DGM PR, in 2012, most notably, he coordinated the launch of George Clooney, Rande Gerber, and Mike Meldman’s Casamigos Tequila. For several years, he served as global head of PR.
He also served as global head of PR for WhistlePig Whiskey, leader of the premium rye whiskey category, helping to build the brand domestically and internationally, for several years and consulted on all facets of marketing and sales.
Furthermore, helped to coordinate the launch and for several years managed PR and provided brand consulting for all facets of marketing and sales on behalf of The Long Drink, onboarding celebrity partners Miles Teller, Kygo, Rickie Fowler, Palm Tree Crew, and expanding the brand across the United States.
David lives in New Canaan, CT, with his wife and two daughters. In his free time, he enjoys fishing, hiking, skiing, and splits time between Connecticut and Vermont with his family.
