2024 marked the thrilling return of Pebble Beach Food & Wine, one of the country’s premier culinary events. After a four-year hiatus, the exclusive event brought together more than 150 acclaimed wine and spirits producers and more than 125 distinguished chefs from across the nation. The four-day epicurean experience, presented by the Pebble Beach Company Foundation and produced by a21, saw an estimated 8,000 guests joined by an elite lineup of international chefs, restaurateurs, winemakers, sommeliers, mixologists, and golf enthusiasts for an indulgent celebration of culinary arts. Nestled along one of the world’s most scenic coastlines and recognized for unparalleled hospitality, Pebble Beach provided an idyllic setting for the festivities.
Attendees and package holders enjoyed access to various events including seated lunches and dinners, wine and champagne seminars, and the two-day Tasting Pavilion presented by Palo Alto Networks. Sample experiences included the Pebble Beach Food & Wine Invitational sponsored by Tito’s Handmade Vodka, led by celebrity chef Geoffrey Zakarian; California Coastal Pacific Feast Hosted by Jeremiah Tower Presented by Friedmans Appliance; A Protégé Showcase Dinner Featuring Rarities from Heitz Cellar Historic Stone Cellar Library Collection; Burgers, Bourbon & Bordeaux Happy Hour; and From the Cellar: A Culinary Showcase highlighted the culinary creations from Michelin Star and World’s 50 Best renowned chefs.
Seminars from the finest wine and spirits producers were helmed by master sommeliers, winemakers, and distillers from the likes of Piper-Heidsieck, Dalla Valle, Dom Pérignon, FINE+RARE, Krug, Laurent Perrier, Opus One, Promontory, Verité Estate, and many more. From Effervescent Indulgence: A Champagne and Caviar Pairing Seminar, to The Art and Legacy of Tequila with Casa Obsidiana, to Old World vs. New World with Master Pruner Marco Simonit hosted by FINE+RARE, there was a seminar for every palate.
This year’s Tasting Pavilion presented by Palo Alto Networks was an immersive experience spread across two tents connected by a sprawling open-air courtyard, meant to transport guests through nature and give a sense of place for a true destination experience.
Pebble Beach Food & Wine welcomed a star-studded list of top culinary talent, from James Beard Award winners and Michelin Star chefs to eminent culinary TV personalities. The roster for the gourmet experience included luminaries such as Nancy Silverton, Elizabeth Faulkner, Scott Conant, Maneet Chauhan, Lindsay Autry, Rogelio Garcia, Tim Hollingsworth, Jeremiah Tower, Cedric Vongerichten, Jonathan Waxman, Geoffrey Zakarian, Andrew Zimmern, and Michael White.
In collaboration with The Roots Fund and the James Beard Foundation, Pebble Beach Food & Wine supported The Pebble Beach Company Foundation, which offers grants to Monterey County’s leading youth-focused nonprofits.
Next year, the momentum continues as Pebble Beach Food & Wine officially announced its 2025 return taking place April 10 through April 13.
