Senior Account Supervisor, Lifestyle

Summary: This is an exciting opportunity for a process-oriented, go-getter/team-player who wants to play a meaningful role in client service, supporting the account management of an integrated account team in the luxury lifestyle space. Previous agency experience in PR, events and social media combined with an enthusiastic approach to providing outstanding client service is the foundation of this position. Supporting the account lead, you will have the opportunity to contribute to and implement integrated PR programs and serve as one of the day-to-day client contacts.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee entire public relations performance and all functions of account including large scale events/sponsorships and integrated PR programs.
  • Develop public relations strategies and manage senior level day-to-day contact with the client to ensure all objectives are met
  • Execute senior level strategic public relations positioning with the media
  • Provide strategic media counsel to clients and account team
  • Anticipate clients’ strategic needs
  • Supervise account staff in their daily activities
  • Working knowledge of social networks and ability to assist clients with developing strategies and monitoring share of voice

 

Education and Experience Required:

  • BA/BS Degree is preferred
  • 6-8 years of experience in public relations
  • Agency experience is preferred
  • Experience in the luxury sector is preferred

 

Knowledge and Skills Required:

  • Ability to prioritize while simultaneously working on numerous projects
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Detail oriented and results oriented
  • Ability to spot trends and integrate into PR efforts to enhance client programs
  • Experience working on client events and/or sponsorship activation
  • Experience in thought leadership, executive visibility, and/or corporate communications is a plus
