James Beard Awards
The 2017 James Beard Foundation Awards marked Magrino’s ninth year as agency of record for the annual gala, dubbed “the Oscars of the food world.” Magrino’s objectives were to increase media impressions in top tier outlets, secure articles beyond typical culinary outlets playing into “Powered by Food” theme, which celebrated the influence technology and social media has played on food, and vice versa. Ultimately, Magrino worked to generate ticket sales for the award ceremony and raising the overall profile and awareness of the culinary award program. The result was more than 3 billion media impressions.
