Amelia Durand

Amelia Durand rejoined Magrino in 2012 as a specialist in public relations and branding for the agency’s Food and Wine & Spirits practices.  With 19 years of experience promoting luxury lifestyle products and personalities, including in-house positions, Amelia brings a deep understanding of the business of the industry.

She originally joined Magrino in 1996 as a Senior Account Executive, managing media relations for Newman’s Own, restaurants Lutéce and Rosa Mexicano, and the launch of Ina Garten’s first book,The Barefoot Contessa Cookbook. In 2004, she became Director of Communications for Clicquot, Inc., supervising U.S. press and marketing initiatives for Champagnes Veuve Clicquot and Krug. She went on to become Director of the Estates & Wines division of Moët Hennessy USA, overseeing all Public Relations initiatives for the importer’s 18 international wine estates, including Bouchard Pere & Fils, Ceretto, Chateau Cheval Blanc, Chateau d’Yquem, Chateau La Nerthe, Cloudy Bay, Domaine Chandon, Lapostolle, Livio Felluga, and Terrazas de los Andes, among others.

Amelia’s current and past agency client roster includes Babeth’s Feast, Lavazza, Le Cirque, Marchesi Antinori, Michael Mina 74, Moët Hennessy Estates & Wine, Mutti, The Plaza Food Hall and Todd English Food Hall, Pomme Palais, and Villard Michel Richard at The New York Palace.

Amelia holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Louisiana State University.  She enjoys great adventures with her husband, Steven.
